Compensation CCNL Level (Area) A2 The salary will be commensurate with the titles and experience. Average RAL: EUR 45,000-52,000

Brief Description of the EPOS Research Infrastructure EPOS (European Plate Observing System, www.epos-eu.org/) is the pan-European research infrastructure dedicated to the integration of data, services and facilities of the solid Earth science research communities in Europe. Its mission is to ensure the sustainable use and re-use of multidisciplinary solid-Earth science data and products, fostering state-of-the-art research and innovation. EPOS is committed to establishing and underpinning sustainable and long-term access to solid Earth science data and services, integrating diverse European research infrastructures under a common federated framework. EPOS ERIC is the legal entity established by the European Commission to coordinate and integrate national and international research infrastructures forming the EPOS Delivery Framework. Based in Rome, Italy, EPOS ERIC comprises 19 Members: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Iceland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and 1 Observer: Germany. The governing body of EPOS ERIC is the General Assembly. Job Mission and Main Responsibilities EPOS ERIC seeks a motivated and proficient IT Project Lead, who will act in the framework of the EPOS ERIC IT Unit and in coordination with all EPOS ERIC Units. The IT Project Lead will perform activities related to the EPOS ERIC participation in EU projects. In particular, they will be responsible for:

• Develop and execute action plans to achieve project objectives, monitor progresses, timely identify deviations from the project work plan and propose corrective measures, to ensure that deadlines all projects are respected and results are delivered on time and within scope.
• Participate in meetings and working groups activities, managing the relationship with the other project participants.
• Draft technical reports, deliverables and other project documents, as well as creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
• Support all relevant EPOS Units in the development of new projects, in accordance with the EPOS strategies and considering the available resources.
• Participate in the IT Unit activities to be constantly updated on the EPOS technical solutions. Mandatory Qualifications Master’s Degree, preferably in the technical and scientific fields (e.g., computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, technical project management, etc) Required skills and Professional Experience
• Expertise in the use of collaborative tools and traditional and agile project management tools;
• Experience in managing and monitoring development phases of applications or digital platforms;
• Proven technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development, web technologies, and data-driven technologies.
• Proven experience (at least 3 years) in drafting and finalizing documents, reports, and deliverables.
• Knowledge of and/or experience in the EU Framework Programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, aptitude to problem solving and multitasking;
